Notion on the Verge of Launching Email Product, Notion Mail

Productivity startup Notion is reportedly close to launching its highly-anticipated email product, Notion Mail, according to multiple sources. This development comes months after Notion acquired Skiff, a privacy-focused email service and app, which provided users with a 12-month window to migrate to a different email service.

Rumors of Notion working on its email product have been circulating on Reddit, with users discovering the development environment URL and login page. While the company has remained tight-lipped about the launch, a brief glimpse of the "Notion Mail" page title and mail logo was spotted by TechCrunch when accessing mail.notion.so.

Notion Mail is expected to be a secure email service, expanding the company's productivity suite beyond its main knowledge base platform. This move would allow Notion to better compete with larger tech companies, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. The launch of Notion Mail would also complement the company's recent release of a standalone calendar app, based on its acquisition of Cron.

Notion is set to announce new products at an event today, fueling speculation that Notion Mail could be officially unveiled soon.
