LG Electronics has unveiled a unique product at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, combining two essential features for cat owners: a cat tree and an air purifier. The AeroCatTower is designed to provide a cozy spot for felines to relax while also monitoring their health and purifying the air.
The AeroCatTower features a dome-shaped seat on top, perfect for cats to curl up in, and an air purifier that adjusts its flow according to the cat's presence. When a cat is on the tower, the air purifier reduces its flow to avoid disturbing the animal, and then ramps up to clear the air when the cat leaves.
In addition to its air-purifying capabilities, the AeroCatTower also includes a heater to keep cats warm and comfortable. The second platform can be used to assist elderly cats in getting up to the main platform or as a separate spot for a second pet.
One of the most interesting features of the AeroCatTower is its ability to monitor a cat's health signs. The seat is equipped with a scale, which tracks the cat's weight and sends the data to the LG ThinQ app. The app also records the cat's sleep time, allowing owners to keep tabs on their pet's activity levels.
While the AeroCatTower is an innovative product, LG has not provided any information on pricing or release dates. This lack of transparency is consistent with many of the products showcased at LG's CES 2025 booth.
The AeroCatTower is an interesting example of how technology can be integrated into everyday life, even in unexpected ways. As the smart home industry continues to grow, it will be interesting to see how companies like LG continue to push the boundaries of innovation and functionality.
For cat owners, the AeroCatTower could be a game-changer, providing a unique way to keep their pets healthy and happy while also improving indoor air quality. While we wait for more information on the product's availability, it's clear that LG is thinking outside the box when it comes to smart home technology.
