Google Pixel 10 Leak Reveals Triple Rear Camera Setup, Tensor G5 Chip

A new leak of the upcoming Google Pixel 10 has revealed a significant upgrade to the device's camera system, with renders suggesting a triple rear camera setup. This would mark the first time a base Pixel model has featured three cameras, a feature previously reserved for the Pro and Pro XL variants.

The leak, courtesy of renowned leaker OnLeaks and published by Android Headlines, shows the Pixel 10 with a wider rear camera bar, accommodating the additional camera. According to the report, the third camera is a small periscope telephoto lens, a feature currently found on the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL models.

Beyond the camera upgrade, the leak suggests that the Pixel 10 will retain the same 6.3-inch screen and matte finish sides as its predecessor, the Pixel 9. The device is expected to be only 0.1mm thicker than the Pixel 9, indicating minimal design changes.

Other rumors surrounding the Pixel 10 series suggest that the Pro and Pro XL models will also receive minor design tweaks, with both devices expected to be slightly thicker than their Pixel 9 counterparts. More significantly, all three models are rumored to feature Google's Tensor G5 chip, manufactured by TSMC. This new chip is expected to provide improved performance and reduced overheating, a common issue with the Pixel 9 series.

The Tensor G5 chip has also been rumored to enable local processing of Stable Diffusion, a significant advancement in AI capabilities. While Google has not officially confirmed these rumors, the addition of a triple rear camera setup and a more powerful chip could make the Pixel 10 series an attractive option for photography enthusiasts and those seeking improved performance.

The Pixel 10 series is expected to launch later this year, although Google has not provided an official release date. As more information becomes available, it will be interesting to see how these upgrades impact the overall user experience and whether they will be enough to compete with other flagship devices in the market.

In the meantime, the leak has sparked excitement among Android fans, who are eagerly anticipating the launch of the Pixel 10 series. With its reputation for exceptional camera performance and timely software updates, Google's upcoming devices are likely to be highly sought after.
