Electronic Arts (EA) has unveiled Battlefield Labs, a new community testing program designed to give gamers a say in the development of the next Battlefield game. The program, announced on February 3, 2025, allows players to sign up and participate in the testing process, with the first phase set to go live in the coming weeks for invited players in Europe and North America.
The move is seen as an effort by EA to avoid a repeat of the issues that plagued the launch of Battlefield 2042, which did not meet the company's expectations.
