The innovative remote, reminiscent of the Nintendo Wii's Nunchuk controller, enables single-handed operation of a boat, including maneuvering, from anywhere on the craft. This feature is particularly useful during launch or docking, allowing captains to control the boat with one hand while using the other to secure lines or adjust fenders.

The Helm Master EX Wireless Control is compatible with Yamaha's Helm Master EX control system, which is designed to make boating more accessible.
