SuperOps, an Indian startup offering a suite of tools to help IT service providers and internal system administrators at enterprises, has raised $25 million in a Series C round that values the company at $200 million post-money. The funding will be used to double down on artificial intelligence (AI) and expand its presence in the global market.
The startup's platform is designed to help IT teams and managed service providers (MSPs) support remote teams and troubleshoot issues in real-time. SuperOps targets small and medium-sized enterprises with limited IT budgets, offering a range of tools including professional services automation (PSA), remote monitoring management (RMM), network monitoring, and IT documentation. The company competes with established players like Atera and NinjaOne in a crowded market.
According to co-founder and CEO Arvind Parthiban, SuperOps' India-based operations allow it to offer competitive pricing, with charges starting at $1.5 per endpoint, significantly lower than its competitors. "We are not the cheapest vendor, but we are also not the most luxury vendor in the market. We are like OnePlus [and not Apple]; we push in very well," Parthiban explained.
SuperOps has experienced rapid growth, tripling its customer base to 1,300 across 104 countries over the past year. The U.S., U.K., Europe, and Australia are its top four markets. The startup has also launched a GPT-powered AI assistant called Monica, which analyzes MSPs' datasets to provide personalized insights and automate routine workflows. Plans are underway to upgrade Monica with a prediction and recommendation algorithm that analyzes tickets filed in the past to predict issues and propose solutions in advance.
In addition to enhancing its AI capabilities, SuperOps is expanding its product offerings to cater to internal IT teams with limited resources. The company has launched an endpoint management tool powered by AI, which provides intelligent alerting, automates maintenance activities, and prioritizes incidents. This move is expected to increase SuperOps' presence in the IT services market, where internal IT teams already comprise 20% of its customer base.
The fresh funding will also be used to fuel SuperOps' geographic expansion plans. The company aims to enter the mid-sized enterprise market, expand its presence in the U.S., and establish offices in new regions, including London by the end of the year, and Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Germany in the future. SuperOps currently employs 200 people, with 180 based in India and 10 in the U.S., and plans to hire more in the coming months to support its ambitious growth targets.
With this Series C round, SuperOps has secured a total of $37.4 million in funding, following a $12.4 million Series B round last year. The latest investment was led by March Capital, with participation from existing investors Addition and Z47. As SuperOps continues to innovate and expand its offerings, it is well-positioned to capture a significant share of the growing IT service provider market.
In conclusion, SuperOps' successful Series C funding round marks a significant milestone in the company's journey to revolutionize the IT service provider landscape. With its AI-powered tools and competitive pricing, SuperOps is poised to make a lasting impact in the industry and further establish India as a hub for innovative startups.
