A functional replica of Rick and Morty's beloved Butter Bot has been brought to life by Geek Club and CircuitMess, offering more than just a breakfast butler experience. This autonomous robot, available for preorder on Kickstarter, features a camera, working treads, and AI capabilities, allowing it to navigate, recognize faces, and engage in conversation.
The Butter Bot, which stands at 4.53 inches tall, is powered by a dual-core processor and boasts a range of features, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a tiny speaker and microphone, and a two-megapixel camera. It can be controlled using an included wireless remote or navigate autonomously using its camera and AI.
With a successful track record of crowdfunding campaigns, including a buildable RC Batmobile and a DIY mobile phone, the creators have mitigated the risk of delays or non-delivery. The officially licensed product is available for preorder at $139, with a pricier "Mad Scientist Pack" option offering additional upgradeable modules. Delivery is expected as early as August 2025.
