Regie.ai, a San Francisco-based startup, has raised $30 million in Series B funding to further develop its AI-powered sales enablement platform. The company's founders, Matt Millen and Srinath Sridhar, leveraged their expertise in AI technology and sales to create a platform that combines human-driven outreach with AI capabilities.
The platform aims to provide sales teams with the necessary resources to close deals, addressing the diverse needs of teams that may struggle with prospecting or require help in getting deals over the finish line. Regie.ai's solution is designed to amplify human sellers, rather than replace them, according to Srinath Sridhar, the company's CEO.
Sridhar, a data scientist by trade, developed enterprise-scale machine learning systems during his tenure as a software engineer at Google and Meta. His co-founder, Matt Millen, brought his experience as a VP at T-Mobile, leading national sales teams. The duo's combined expertise has enabled Regie.ai to expand its product portfolio significantly since its initial coverage in 2022.
Today, Regie.ai's platform offers a range of tools, including an AI-powered sales sequence builder and "co-pilots" for messaging personalization and sales prospecting. The platform aims to integrate phone, email, and social outreach workflows, enhancing them with automation and AI insights. This approach allows Regie.ai to analyze signals like website visits, engagement interactions, and intent data to determine the best next step for outreach.
Sridhar explained that Regie.ai's platform can decide whether AI should handle the next touch or if a rep should step in, assigning a call, email, or social task accordingly. This approach sets Regie.ai apart from competitors in the sales enablement software space, which was valued at $5.23 billion in 2024.
Regie.ai's unique approach has attracted customers like Crunchbase and Copado, and the company has seen significant growth, with annual recurring revenue increasing by 300% year-over-year last year. The new funding will be used to expand Regie.ai's roughly 75-person team, with a focus on engineering and customer success organizations.
The $30 million Series B funding round was co-led by Scale Venture Partners and Foundation Capital, with participation from Khosla Ventures, StepStone Group, Triple Point Capital, and South Park Commons. This brings the company's total raised to $50.8 million, further solidifying Regie.ai's position in the sales enablement market.
As Regie.ai continues to scale up, its AI-powered sales enablement platform is poised to make a significant impact on the industry, providing sales teams with the tools they need to succeed while emphasizing the importance of human involvement in the sales process.
