MSI Unveils 2025 Gaming Laptops with Nvidia RTX 50-Series, Intel, and AMD Power

MSI has announced a major refresh of its gaming laptop lineup for 2025, featuring the latest Nvidia RTX 50-series graphics cards, Intel and AMD CPU options, and a plethora of RGB lighting. The new laptops, which include the Titan, Raider, Stealth, Cyborg, Vector, and more, are designed to cater to gamers who prioritize performance and aesthetics.

The flagship Titan 18 HX AI laptop boasts an 18-inch Mini LED screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2400 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and Nvidia's RTX 5080 or flagship 5090 GPU. The laptop also features up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM, dual Gen5 and Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD slots, and a range of ports including Thunderbolt 5/USB-C, USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and an SD card slot. The Titan weighs in at 7.94 pounds and has a 99.9Wh battery, the largest capacity allowed on a plane.

The Raider 18 HX AI laptop offers similar specs to the Titan, but with a more affordable price tag. It features a similar Mini LED screen, GPU options, RAM, ports, battery, and storage with dedicated SSD cooling. The Raider also offers configurations with either the Intel Ultra 9 275HX or AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU.

For those who prefer a more subtle design, the MSI Vector line offers a gray styling with no colorful lights outside of its per-key RGB keyboards. The Vector A18 has an 18-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display, the choice of RTX 5070 Ti/5080 GPUs, AMD CPU configurations, and a plethora of ports. The Vector 16 HX AI and Vector 17 HX AI models have slightly smaller screens, but still support 2560 x 1600 resolution and 240Hz.

The Stealth line is designed for those who want a thinner and lighter laptop. The 18-inch model offers a 4K 120Hz screen or QHD 240Hz model, as well as either an Intel Ultra 9 275HX or AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU. The 16-inch Stealth only comes with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.

For a more budget-friendly option, the MSI Cyborg A17 AI laptop features a partially seethrough design, with a smoked translucent top deck that allows users to see the innards of the laptop. It has CPU options up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 240H or AMD Ryzen 7 260 and RTX 50-series GPUs.

Lastly, MSI is also updating its economy-class Crosshair and Pulse series gaming laptops, which top out at configurations with just the Nvidia RTX 5070. The Crosshair will be MSI's cheapest 18-inch laptop.

With the jump to RTX 50-series GPUs, MSI is taking a shotgun approach to cater to a wide range of gamers. The company is also riding the AI train hard, adding "AI" to the name of most of its laptops and introducing a new chatbot dedicated to controlling the computer. While the new laptops may not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer smaller and lighter designs, MSI's focus on raw performance per dollar may impress.

MSI has not yet released pricing and availability information for its new laptops, but we will update this post once we have it.
