Chinese tech company JMGO has announced its latest innovation in the projector market, the N3 Ultra Max, which boasts a motorized gimbal that enables remote adjustments and automated alignment for a seamless setup experience. The all-in-one projector, initially debuted in China last year, is now being launched globally with improved software, Google TV, and native Netflix support.
The N3 Ultra Max's motorized gimbal allows users to adjust the projector's direction using a motion-sensing wireless remote, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. The projector then takes care of fine-tuning, including focus, optical zoom, and keystone adjustments, to ensure a perfectly aligned image. This feature is particularly useful for those who struggle with projector setup or have limited mobility.
In addition to its motorized gimbal, the N3 Ultra Max features a camera and 3D distance sensors that detect obstacles on the wall, such as artwork or light switches, and adjust the projection accordingly. This technology helps minimize visual distractions and ensures a more immersive viewing experience. However, it may result in a smaller image size depending on the clutteredness of the wall.
The projector's I/O ports have been relocated to the gimbal's base, allowing for a 360-degree rotation without the risk of tangling cables. This design choice increases the projector's range of motion and makes it more convenient to use. The N3 Ultra Max also employs a triple laser system, outputting around 4,000 ISO lumens of brightness, which JMGO claims can project an image up to 180 inches in size, even in ambient light conditions.
Although the global launch is set for the fourth quarter of 2025, pricing details have not been finalized yet. The N3 Ultra Max joins JMGO's growing line of gimbal-mounted projectors, but its motorized movements and advanced features make it a standout in the market. As the projector industry continues to evolve, innovations like the N3 Ultra Max are likely to change the way we experience home entertainment and presentations.
The introduction of the N3 Ultra Max at CES marks a significant milestone for JMGO, as it expands its global presence and offers consumers a more convenient and immersive projector experience. With its automated alignment, obstacle detection, and motorized gimbal, the N3 Ultra Max is poised to revolutionize the projector market and set a new standard for home entertainment and presentation technology.
