Guidde Secures $15M to Revolutionize Corporate Training with AI-Generated Videos

Tel Aviv-based startup Guidde has secured $15 million in new funding to accelerate the growth of its innovative corporate training video platform. The investment, led by Qualcomm Ventures, brings the company's total raised to $30 million. Guidde's platform leverages artificial intelligence to automatically create video clips that instruct viewers on how to use different software applications, providing a cheaper and more efficient alternative to traditional training methods.

The idea for Guidde was born out of the frustration of creating corporate training videos for software, a process that often requires entire teams and significant resources. Founder Yoav Einav teamed up with Dan Sahar to develop a solution that could simplify this process. Since its inception in 2020, Guidde has made significant strides, now serving over 100,000 users across 2,000 organizations, including prominent brands like American Eagle Outfitters, Carta, and Nasdaq.

Guidde's platform uses AI to capture a user's in-app activity and transform it into a video with a "storyline." The resulting videos can be customized with features like AI-generated voiceovers in multiple languages, background music, and tags that highlight key aspects of a software app's functionality. Additionally, the platform offers basic video editing tools with effects such as motion transitions, frame timing adjustment, and cropping.

Einav attributes the lack of engagement with traditional training videos to two primary issues: poor production quality and difficult-to-navigate interfaces. To address this, Guidde has introduced Guidde Broadcast, a feature that delivers personalized, contextual training content to a company's staff, akin to a "Netflix for organizations." This approach aims to drive software engagement by providing "just-in-time" training content within a user's workflow.

Guidde's growth trajectory has been impressive, with revenue increasing fourfold in the last 12 months. The new funding will be utilized to expand the company's localization tools, enterprise sales and customer success teams, and global market presence. Einav emphasized the company's commitment to a conservative and humble approach to finances, which has proven effective thus far.

The startup's vision is to lead the emerging category of intelligent, immersive content experiences. With its innovative AI-powered platform, Guidde is poised to revolutionize the corporate training landscape, making it easier and more cost-effective for organizations to train their employees.

As the demand for efficient and effective corporate training solutions continues to grow, Guidde's technology is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. With its latest funding round, the company is set to further establish itself as a leader in the AI-powered training video space.
