General Motors has unveiled a futuristic electric-powered Corvette concept, designed by its UK-based design team in Birmingham, England. The concept car boasts a hypercar design inspired by the aviation industry, with a highly sculptured and aerodynamic body, powered gullwing doors, and an augmented windshield display for the driver.

The Corvette concept is the result of a "creative study" that involved participation from multiple GM studios. According to GM's VP of global design, Michael Simcoe, the vehicle's upper half takes inspiration from previous designs, including the split window windshield that pays homage to the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray.
