FIRS Launches 2024 Job Application Portal for Tax Officers

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has officially launched its 2024 job application portal, seeking candidates for Tax Officer positions in eight Nigerian states. This move aims to empower Nigeria's workforce and enhance its tax administration system.

The available positions include Officer I and Officer II in Tax Administration, with locations in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Ekiti, Lagos, and Oyo states. Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in fields such as Accounting, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Law, Management, Mathematics, or Visual Arts. The application process is straightforward, with candidates required to register on the FIRS portal, complete the application form, and upload relevant documents.
