Filigran Raises $35M for Cybersecurity Suite

Paris-based cybersecurity startup Filigran has raised a whopping $35 million in its Series B funding round, just months after securing $16 million in Series A funding. The latest investment, led by Insight Partners, will fuel the company's ambitious plans to expand its presence globally and develop a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity products.

Filigran's flagship product, OpenCTI, is an open-source threat intelligence platform used by top organizations like the European Commission, FBI, and Airbus. The platform has attracted contributions from over 4,300 cybersecurity professionals and has been downloaded millions of times. The company is building on this success with its eXtended Threat Management (XTM) suite, which includes OpenBAS, a beach and attack simulation platform.

The startup's vision is to offer a full-fledged cybersecurity suite by 2026, providing end-to-end solutions for modern organizations. Filigran is also drawing inspiration from GitHub and Hugging Face, with plans to launch XTM Hub, a collaborative platform for the cybersecurity community, by the end of the year.

With this funding, Filigran will expand its presence in the US, Australia, and new markets like Germany, Japan, and Singapore. The company's rapid growth and innovative approach to cybersecurity make it one to watch in the industry.
