Cyberpunk 2077, the highly acclaimed sci-fi RPG, has just received a significant update that promises to take character customization to the next level. Update 2.2, which is now live, introduces a plethora of new options to personalize your in-game character, V, as well as exciting changes to car customization and photo mode.
One of the most notable additions is the ability to create characters with double eyes, a feature that is both horrifying and awesome at the same time. This is just one of the many new customization options available, which also include an improved randomizer with a "plain-to-punk" slider. According to CD Projekt Red, this slider allows players to strike the perfect balance between an understated, casual look and a bold, edgy style for their V.
In addition to character customization, Update 2.2 also brings significant changes to car personalization. Players can now change the paint job of more in-game car brands, and even scan and save paint jobs they like from other cars. But perhaps the most exciting car-related feature is the appearance of Johnny Silverhand, played by Keanu Reeves, in the passenger seat while driving.
Photo mode enthusiasts will also be thrilled to know that Update 2.2 introduces a free camera and the ability to add characters to their shots. This opens up new creative possibilities for players to capture stunning in-game moments.
Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since its infamously rocky launch four years ago. Despite initial setbacks, the game has continued to receive updates and improvements, solidifying its position as one of the most immersive and engaging gaming experiences available. With Update 2.2, CD Projekt Red demonstrates its ongoing commitment to enhancing the game and providing players with new ways to express themselves.
In other news, Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on Macs with Apple Silicon in early 2025, further expanding its reach and accessibility to a wider audience. As the game continues to evolve and improve, it's clear that CD Projekt Red is dedicated to delivering a truly exceptional gaming experience.
With Update 2.2, Cyberpunk 2077 cements its position as a benchmark for character customization and personalization in gaming. As players dive into the new features and options, it will be exciting to see the creative and imaginative ways they choose to express themselves in the world of Night City.
